World Knit Day

What has befallen us but World Knit in Public Day. The world is such a strange place, that we have to add to it by knitting, usually such a private function, in public.

Especially when you are making underpants out of scratch, using the blueprints of one of my own pair of underwear. Or making some sort of hat out of impossibly difficult-to-see yarn on double point needles which makes things all the more impossible and I pulled it out in frustration three times already...

However, good sense prevails and tells me that I should just knit up that hot pink fun fur into a boa. How long does this knit in public thing have to last anyway?

So I'm probably not knitting the worlds greatest pattern to make something super impossible. I just have to accept that I'm a knitting intern, on the lowest scale of the knitting evolutionary ladder and have not gotten to knitting super hero yet. But I swear! I must master those double-pointed needles if it's the last thing I do.
